Our mission is to create an environment where children can learn through play and meet the needs of each child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth in a safe environment.

Our Staff & Classrooms

Smarty Pants Learning Center understands the importance of nurturing the whole child. Each classroom will provide developmentally appropriate activities which incorporate quiet activities, active play, and interest areas that will meet each child’s individual interests that meet their social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development. Teachers will use themes to plan programming. Smarty Pants Learning center is a secular organization.

Classroom Structure

Smarty Pants only employs dedicated and qualified staff who have a passion to help children learn, grow, and succeed. All staff at Smarty Pants are required to meet annual continuous education requirements, be qualified through the Wisconsin Registry, maintain current background checks, and much more

Staff

Smarty Pants Learning Center has partnered with Procare to provide a strong childcare management software for all of the families at the center. Through Procare, parents are able to have direct communication with their child’s teachers and management, easily check in and check out their child on a daily basis, see the centers calendar to plan for events and meals, easily pay tuition or enroll in autopay, and many other features!

History & Ownership

Since 2007, Smarty Pants Learning Center has been serving the City of New Berlin and surrounding communities with high quality childcare. Starting as an in home child care provider to moving into a 10,000 square foot facility, Smarty Pants will always seek continuous improvement to assist in the nurturing and development of all of our students.

History

Smarty Pants Learning Center went through a transition of ownership in May, 2025. Family owned and operated, Smarty Pants will be ran from a parent point of view. We will always ask ourselves, what can we do better that would make us happier as parents to send our children to this center. We understand that choosing childcare is not an easy decision, but knowing that health and safety will always be our first priority, realizing that continuous improvement will help each child learn, grow, and succeed, and knowing that we will provide transparent and over-communication, we hope to ease the burden of choosing your child care
